SADIE EAKER

MARBLE HILL -- Funeral service for Sadie Eaker of Marble Hill was held Saturday at Baker Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Luther Rhodes officiated, with burial in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.

Eaker, 85, died Thursday, Nov. 28, 1991, at Bond Nursing Care Center.

She was born June 2, 1906, at Hiram, daughter of Ezekiel and Georgia Sumpter Loughary. She married Joe Eaker March 15, 1922. He died Feb. 13, 1969.

Survivors include three sons, Delbert Eaker of Marble Hill, Truman Eaker of Glen Allen, Carl Eaker of Alton, Ill.; a daughter, Joneia Shell of St. Ann; a brother, Virgil Loughary of Glen Allen; a sister, Bertha Lawson of Greenbrier; 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, four brothers and seven grandchildren.
