RUTH THRASHER

BERNIE -- Funeral for Ruth Ann Thrasher of Bernie will be held at 3 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Betty Smiley will officiate, with burial in Taylor Cemetery near Essex.

Thrasher, 39, died Thursday, Oct. 22, 1998, at her home.

She was born Aug. 18, 1959, at Bernie, daughter of Cecil E. and Mary J. Burton Jameson. She and Steven W. Thrasher were married Sept. 8, 1980, in Bernie.

Thrasher was a member of the Pentecostal church near Malden.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Joseph and Steven Thrasher of Bernie; her mother of Bernie; a brother, Edward Jameson of St. Louis; six sisters, Pat Hake, Vickie Heffel and Melanie Depke, all of St. Louis, Elaine Cole of Campbell, Linda Francis and Tina Laird of Dexter.

She was preceded in death by her father.
