Ruth Schlue, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, March 30, 2001, at her home. Schlue was born on Aug. 17, 1920, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Harry Francis and Elizabeth Bowman Schlue. She worked at the Buckner Ragsdales as head bookkeeper for 45 years...

Ruth Schlue, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, March 30, 2001, at her home.

Schlue was born on Aug. 17, 1920, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Harry Francis and Elizabeth Bowman Schlue.

She worked at the Buckner Ragsdales as head bookkeeper for 45 years.

Survivors include three sisters, Mary DeGuire, Virginia "Dolly" Schlue and Barbara Schlue, all of Cape Girardeau and a friend, Ed Esicar of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Ford & Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with Michael Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in Cape Girardeau Memorial Park.
