Ruth Wilson Owen, 78, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Advance, died Sunday, Sept. 6, 1998, at Doctor's Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
She was born June 23, 1920, at Bell City, daughter of John and Verl Williams Wilson. She and Ralph Owen were married on Jan. 4, 1941, at Cape Girardeau.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include two sons, Ralph Owen of Poplar Bluff and John Owen of Sherwood, Ark.; a brother, John Wilson of Waterville, Maine; three sisters, Mary Meacham of Cape Girardeau, Alice Mayberry of Park Hills and Betsy White of Edmond, Okla.; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5 - 8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Frederick Lutz will officiate, with burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Advance.
