EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Ruth Ishmael, 76, of East Prairie died Saturday, May 14, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo. She was born Dec. 10, 1928, in East Prairie, daughter of William N. and Inez A. Bippus Nall. She married Jacob T. Zook, who preceded her in death. She and Jacob "Jake" Ishmael were married June 23, 1953. He died July 12, 2002...

EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Ruth Ishmael, 76, of East Prairie died Saturday, May 14, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.

She was born Dec. 10, 1928, in East Prairie, daughter of William N. and Inez A. Bippus Nall. She married Jacob T. Zook, who preceded her in death. She and Jacob "Jake" Ishmael were married June 23, 1953. He died July 12, 2002.

Survivors include two sons, Elmo Ishmael of Provo, Utah, Harry Ishmael of Chaffee, Mo.; two daughters, Donna Shands and Chessie Keene of East Prairie; a brother, James "Bo" Nall of Benton, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, four brothers and two sisters.

The funeral was held Tuesday at Shelby Funeral Home, with Aubrey Wilson and Bill Bradley officiating. Burial was in Dogwood Cemetery.
