Ruth Helen Hubbert, 89, of Jackson died Thursday, June 30, 2016, at Southeast Hospital.

She was born July 30, 1926, in East Prairie, Missouri, to T. M. and Elizabeth McCullough Jones.

Ruth engaged in farming and worked in factories. She was a great seamstress and loved to travel. In her younger years, she loved barrel racing.

She is survived by three sons, Garry D. (Marcia) Hubbert of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, Perry L. (Pamela) Hubbert of Madison, Alabama, and Robbie D. Hubbert of Houston; daughter Lucy Darlene (Larry) Caldwell of Imperial, Missouri; sister Evelyn Upton of East Prairie; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, brother and four sisters.

Visitation was held Monday at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service was held Monday at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum, with Garry and Perry Hubbert and Tim Harvell officiating.

Memorial contributions may be given to American Heart Association or the Arthritis Foundation.
