SIKESTON -- Graveside service for Ruth H. Buchanan of Sikeston will be held at 1 p.m. today at Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Cline Ables will officiate, with Ponder Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Buchanan, 93, died Friday, Nov. 5, 1993, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.

She was born Jan. 26, 1900, in Matthews, daughter of Fred and Birdie Hill. She and A.B. Buchanan were married in 1917. He died in December 1955.

Buchanan was a member of Hunter Memorial Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a son, Charles Buchanan of Poplar Bluff; a sister, Camille Stone of Sikeston; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
