MARBLE HILL -- Funeral service for Ruth Geneva Hatcher of Marble Hill will be held at 11 a.m. today at Baker Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Charles Hovis and Gene Robbins will officiate, with burial in Grassy Cemetery.

Friends may call after 8:30 a.m.

Hatcher, 82, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 1993, at her home.

She was born Dec. 22, 1911, at Flat River, daughter of John and Minnie Cole Vaughn. She and Stanley D. Hatcher were married in 1963.

Hatcher lived in California most of her life, and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary there.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Doris Buchaltz of Marble Hill; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
