PERRYVILLE -- Ruth Joan Flentge, 67, of Perryville died Thursday, July 30, 1998, in Perryville.
She was born Sept. 7, 1930, in Bedford, Ind., daughter of Roscoe D. and Mildred O. Tickner Moore. She and Robert J. Flentge were married Aug. 3, 1952.
Flentge had been an elementary teacher and child social worker. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and its Bell Choir.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, John and Scott Flentge of Perryville; a daughter, Marty Bassa of Perryville; a brother, Roger Moore of Perryville; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church. The Rev. Ed Hankinson will officiate.
