Ruth A. Ewertz, 50, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, March 3, 2005, at Saint Francis Medical Center. She was born May 29, 1954, in St. Louis, daughter of Denver and Rose Wallace Brooks. She was a member of the Church of Hope. Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Ewertz of Cape Girardeau; five sisters, Bonita Kotyla and Alice Brooks of St. Louis, Mamie Roberts of Marshall, Ill., Marie Brooks and Sarah Perry of Cape Girardeau...

Ruth A. Ewertz, 50, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, March 3, 2005, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born May 29, 1954, in St. Louis, daughter of Denver and Rose Wallace Brooks.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Blake Tiemann officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
