MOUNDS, Ill. -- Ruth Eaves, 72, of Mounds, formerly of Olmsted, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She married Earl Eaves, who preceded her in death.

Eaves was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Mounds.

Survivors include a son, Joe Eaves of Mounds; several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Barkett Funeral Home here. The Rev. Ernest Browning will officiate, with burial in Spencer Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. today.
