RUTH E. SCHLOSS

PERRYVILLE -- Ruth E. Schloss, 70, of Perryville, died Tuesday, May 9, 1995, at her home.

She was born Oct. 12, 1924, in Perry County, daughter of William J. and Rosa Stortz Richardet. She and Melbern J. Schloss were married May 21, 1947, in Perryville. He died Jan. 3, 1983.

Schloss was employed 15 years with food service at Perry County School District 32. She was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality.

Survivors include three daughters, Connie Reale of Leesburg, Va., Vicki Ernst of Perryville, Lori Irvin of St. Louis; five sons, Donald, Jerry and Lindy Schloss of St. Louis, Tim Schloss of Lees Summit, Eddy Schloss of Perryville; a brother, Hubert Richardet of Perryville; four sisters, Rita Zahner and Lorena Wibbenmeyer of Perryville, Lillian Zoellner and Sister Jean Richardet of St. Louis, and 20 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30-9:20 a.m. A wake will be held at 7 tonight, and the rosary at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.
