SIKESTON -- Ruth E. McMullin, 92, of Sikeston, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1993, at her home. She was born Sept. 18, 1901, in Frisco, daughter of John Henry and Della Weaver Boyt. She and Charles R. McMullin were married Feb. 24, 1920, at Essex. He died Jan. 26, 1987...

SIKESTON -- Ruth E. McMullin, 92, of Sikeston, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1993, at her home.

She was born Sept. 18, 1901, in Frisco, daughter of John Henry and Della Weaver Boyt. She and Charles R. McMullin were married Feb. 24, 1920, at Essex. He died Jan. 26, 1987.

McMullin was a member of First United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.

Survivors include three sons, John McMullin of Cape Girardeau, James McMullin of Arlington, Va., Jerry McMullin of St. Louis; two daughters, Ruth Robbins of Lynchburgh, Va., Peggy Tallman of St. Louis; two brothers, Samuel Boyt of St. Paul, Minn., Herschel Boyt of Dexter; 14 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons, a brother and sister.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Gary Carter and James McMullin will officiate, with burial in Essex Cemetery.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Sunday.
