BERTRAND, Mo. -- Funeral for Annie Ruth Dugger, 85, of Bertrand will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Nunnelee Chapel in Sikeston, Mo., with the Rev. Rodney Davis officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
Dugger died Saturday, April 2, 2005, at Bertrand Nursing Facility.
She was born Sept. 12, 1919, in Tupelo, Miss., daughter of Floyd and Ludie Rakestraw Chism.
She married E.H. Dugger on Dec. 24, 1936, in Manila, Ark. He preceded her in death on March 10, 1990.
She was a member of Morley Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Wayne Dugger of Loveland, Colo., Hurshell Dugger of Pascagoula, Miss., and Paul Dugger of Sikeston; two daughters, Levinna Kirsey of Cordova, Tenn., and Kathy McGuire of Green Bay, Wis.; two brothers, Carl Chism of Helena, Ark., and Orvil Chism of Flint, Mich.; a sister, Mary Catherine Watson of Mountain Home, Ark.; 15 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, five brothers and six sisters.
