Ruth V. Bygel, 93, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, April 14, 2005, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.
She was born March 25, 1912, in Harcourt, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton M. Bygel, in 1965 while living in Denver, Colo.
Ruth managed the flower shop at Jewish Hospital in St. Louis before she moved to Cape Girardeau. She worked at Kids Wear Again and often helped at My Daddy's Cheesecake.
She was a loving mother and a positive influence to her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Lauchette and Joe Low of Tucson, Ariz., Renae and Neil Humburg of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving caregiver of many years, LaVerne Newell.
A memorial service for family members will be held in Denver.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
