CAIRO, Ill. -- Ruth Joan Billings, 67, of St. Louis died Thursday, Jan. 28, 1999, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. She was born Oct. 14, 1931, in Cairo, daughter of William and Lenora Miller Hensley. CAIRO, Ill. -- Ruth Joan Billings, 67, of St. Louis died Thursday, Jan. 28, 1999, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born Oct. 14, 1931, in Cairo, daughter of William and Lenora Miller Hensley. She married Donald R. Billings.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Sharon Billings of Chandler, Ariz., Joni Barczewski and Amy Frederich of St. Louis; a son, Donald Billings of St. Louis; two sisters, Mary Webster of Fort Wayne, Ind., Nora Sealey of Minden, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo after 4 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 8-10 a.m.

Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge. The Rev. Verlee Eaker will officiate.
