PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Ruth N. Badger, 71, of Perryville died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2002, at PerryOaks Manor.
She was born Oct. 15, 1930, at Millheim, Mo., daughter of Edward and Annie Bangert Weiss. She and Virdell James were married Feb. 28, 1947. She later married Jack Badger May 30, 1970. He died July 9, 1975.
Badger had worked at Badger Tour Service in St. Louis. She was a member of St. John's Seniors and Friendly Neighbors in St. Louis, Whitecliff Seniors, and Mehlville Seniors.
Survivors include two sons, Ivan and Michael James of Marble Hill, Mo.; a daughter, Cheryl Goodman of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5 to 8:30 p.m. today, and Saturday after 6:30 a.m.
Funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Friends may also call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in St. Louis from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will be in Waterloo Cemetery in Waterloo, Ill., with the Rev. William Harmon officiating.
