PERRYVILLE -- Ruth Anna Hayden, 77, died Saturday, July 5, 1997, at Perry County Hospital.
She was born Sept. 26, 1919 at Silver Lake the daughter of Joseph and Ann B. Robinson Nation. She married Chalmer Hayden on Sept. 20, 1941 in Claryville. He survives.
Hayden was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer, the Blessed Sacrament Sodality, the Daughters of Isabella and the KC Auxiliary. She had been a seamstress at the International Shoe Company.
Survivors include two sons, David Hayden of Festus and Richard Hayden of Perryville; two daughters, Patricia Sauer of St. Louis and Connie Whitener of Hayti; two brothers, Francis Nation of Jackson and Graden Nation of Perryville; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
Friends may call from 4 - 9 p.m. today and from 6:30 - 9:40 a.m. on Monday at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.
A parish wake service will be held today at 7 p.m. at the funeral home and a Rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer with the Rev. Felipe Martinez officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
