ESSEX -- Russell Wethington, 65, of Arlington, Texas, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 1995, in Fort Worth, Texas.

He was born Aug. 30, 1930, in Essex, son of Hudson and Bertha Condict Wethington. He and Violet Inman were married June 9, 1956.

Wethington was retired from the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Lance Wethington of Arlington; a daughter, Holly Scaggs of Arlington; six brothers, David Wethington of Arlington, Donald and Fred Wethington of Bloomfield, Elzie Wethington of Dexter, Paul Wethington of San Diego, Calif., M.B. Wethington of Sikeston; two sisters, Linda Curtis of Johnston City, Ill., Pauline Clanton of Nashville, Tenn., and four grandchildren.

Services were held in Arlington.
