SIKESTON -- Russell R. McMinn, 76, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1993, at Hunter Acres Caring Center.
He was born Feb. 1, 1916, son of Henry Daniel and Helen Sharp McMinn. He and Estell Ocie Manes were married Feb. 23, 1932.
McMinn was a farmer, and member of Cornerstone General Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, J.L. McMinn of Steele, Raymond McMinn of San Antonio, Texas, Ray McMinn of Jacksonville, Fla.; six daughters, Louise Grissom of Blytheville, Ark., Dorothy Mooneyhan of Neelyville, Ester Hartwick of Bertrand, Geraldine Blevins of Ocoee, Fla., Bonnie Keith and Brenda Rodery of Sikeston; 26 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and a granddaughter.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Jim Romine and Darrell Hodge will officiate, with burial in Dogwood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Friday.
