Russell Hester

Russell Hester, 65, of Delta died Friday, March 17, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born March 2, 1941, at Delta, son of Watson Russell and Mary Immogene Sanford Hester.

Hester was a retired millwright. He was a member of Arbor General Baptist Church and Eagles Aerie in Advance, Mo.

Survivors include a son, Mitchel Hester of Mississippi; two stepsons, Jay McGuire of Cape Girardeau, Kevin McGuire of Cleveland, Ohio; two brothers, Watson and David Hester of Delta; two sisters, Nancy Stoffregen and Ruth Ann Crader of Delta.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. Sunday.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Kermit Patton officiating. Burial will be in Kenyon Cemetery at Delta.
