ALTENBURG -- Rudolph Joseph Meinz, 79, of Altenburg, died Wednesday, March 25, 1992, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 31, 1912, at Altenburg, son of Alfred and Theresa Hunt Meinz. He and Hilda F. Koch were married Jan. 24, 1937.
Meinz was a retired farmer, and member of Trinity Lutheran Church here.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Edward Meinz of Farmington, Marvin Meinz of Naperville, Ill., Delbert Meinz of St. Louis; two brothers, Henry and Curt Meinz of Altenburg; four sisters, Edna Weinhold of Brazeau, Cordy Voepel and Lorna Bohnert of Altenburg, Mabel Wilke of St. Louis, and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Willard Kassulke will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg from 4-9 p.m. Friday, and 6:30 a.m. to noon Saturday.
