BENTON, Mo. -- Ruby Mae Wells, 83, of Benton died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 14, 1927, at East Prairie, Mo., daughter of Ralph and Virgie May Woods Hays. She and Raymond Wells were married June 28, 1943, at Dexter, Mo. He died Jan. 6, 1970.
Ruby was a housekeeper at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include a son, Kenny Wells of Oran, Mo.; two daughters, Donna Chrisman of Reno, Nev., Patsy Ellis of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; a brother, R.V. Hays of Wauchula, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Jean Jamieson in 1999; and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today at Unity Baptist Cemetery in Benton, with the Rev. Dale Huff officiating.
