Ruby Bell Voyles, 73, of Bridgeton, Mo., died Tuesday, July 11, 2000, at DePaul Health Center in Bridgeton. She was born Dec. 21, 1926, at Reeds Bend, Mo., daughter of Dee and Minnie Phipps. Voyles was an inspector at American Can Co. in St. Louis, Mo., 15 years, and also worked in housekeeping at St. Luke Hospital in St. Louis...

Ruby Bell Voyles, 73, of Bridgeton, Mo., died Tuesday, July 11, 2000, at DePaul Health Center in Bridgeton.

She was born Dec. 21, 1926, at Reeds Bend, Mo., daughter of Dee and Minnie Phipps.

Voyles was an inspector at American Can Co. in St. Louis, Mo., 15 years, and also worked in housekeeping at St. Luke Hospital in St. Louis.

Survivors include a son, John Voyles of Jefferson City, Mo.; a daughter, Margaret Vandergraph of Cape Girardeau; two brothers; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, and a grandson.

There is no visitation.

Service will be private.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
