Ruby Snider

LEOPOLD, Mo. -- Ruby Opal Snider, 88, of Leopold died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 29, 1916, at Glennon, Mo., daughter of John and Katie Ann Mabrey Thiele. She and John F. Snider were married Dec. 21, 1935. He died May 3, 1996.

Snider had worked at Thorngate Ltd. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Delta.

Survivors include a son, Ronald Snider of Leopold; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Daniel Baggett officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill, Mo.
