Ruby M. Roe, 81, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, July 24, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 28, 1928, at Lake City, Ark., to Leslie H. and Emma Irene Osburn Jacobs.
She and Charles Joseph Graff were married in 1945 in Scott County, Mo. He preceded her in death in 1952. She then married William R. LeGrand in 1955.
Ruby was a member of Cape Bible Chapel and had been a cook on a riverboat more than 10 years.
Survivors include five daughters, Charlotte Graff Mosley (Dale) of Florence, Ky., Elaine Graff Fetter (Jim) of Nicholasville, Ky; Cecelia Graff Bradley (Bob) of Lexington, Ky., Charlene Graff Bell (Jerry) of Benton, Mo., and Jackie LeGrand Majoros (Mark) of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Bill LeGrand (Bonnie) of Kelso, Mo., and Jerry LeGrand (Roberta) of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Hazel Vetter of Cape Girardeau and Shirley Frye of Fort Myers, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Pauline Jacobs of Cape Girardeau; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Charles Joseph Graff; and two brothers, Marion and Herman Jacobs.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery in Commerce, Mo.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
