RUBY P. BOARDMAN

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Funeral service for Mrs. Ruby P. Boardman of Fountainbleau Lodge will be held at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Charles E. Buck will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery there.

Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until time of service.

Mrs. Boardman, 90 years old, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 1990, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 2, 1900, at Bertrand, daughter of Felix Ferguson and Hattie Crenshaw Trousdale. She married Edward L. Boardman June 1, 1924, at Bertrand.

Mrs. Boardman was a member of First United Methodist Church in Sikeston and United Methodist Women.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, John Boardman of Cape, Earl Boardman of Lexington, Ky., David Boardman of Caruthersville; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
