RUBY NANCY MCROY

BLOOMFIELD -- Ruby Nancy McRoy, 82, of Bloomfield, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 1991 at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter.

She was the daughter of the late Joshua and Martha Parkinson White, born on Oct. 6, 1908.

On March 29, 1952, she married Harvey J. McRoy, He proceeded her in death on Oct. 4,1974.

Survivors include one sister, Julia Fletcher of Dexter; five step-sons, Calvin McRoy, Alvin McRoy, H.M. McRoy and Ronald McRoy, all of Bloomfield and Donald McRoy of East Alton, Ill.; five step-daughters, Velma Kingree, Eileen Crowe and Geraldine Harris, all of Bloomfield, Virginia Hendrix of Chaffee and Vivian Patterson of Dexter; and several step-grandchildren. One step-daughter proceeded her in death.

Friends may call the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield after 4 p.m. today. Service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
