CLEARWATER, Mo. -- Ruby Irene McBurnett, 76, of Clearwater died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2001, at her home, of an apparent heart attack.

She was born Nov. 1, 1924, in Acworth, Ga., daughter of James Harlie and Gertie Mae Fleming McClure. She married Curtis "Jack" McBurnett.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Brenda Gould of Scott City, Mo., Nancy Hiles of Piedmont, Mo.; two sons, Van McBurnett of Piedmont, David McBurnett of Clearwater; six sisters, Maybelle Fleming, Allie Ford, Molly Selman, Barbara Melton and Betty Yarborough of Georgia, Shirley Presley of Florida; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Hoffmeister South County Chapel from 1-9 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
