ANNA, Ill. -- Ruby F. Cruse, 80, of Topeka, Kan., died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 1997, at Rolling Hills Health Center in Topeka. She was born April 7, 1917, at Slater, Mo., daughter of Walter and Laura Reynolds Chrisinger. She and Lester E. Cruse were married Dec. 17, 1938. He died Jan. 15, 1978...

ANNA, Ill. -- Ruby F. Cruse, 80, of Topeka, Kan., died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 1997, at Rolling Hills Health Center in Topeka.

She was born April 7, 1917, at Slater, Mo., daughter of Walter and Laura Reynolds Chrisinger. She and Lester E. Cruse were married Dec. 17, 1938. He died Jan. 15, 1978.

Cruse was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Steven Cruse of Topeka, David Cruse of Kansas City, Kan.; two sisters, Juanita Ludlow of Seattle, Wash., Lola Hoppe of Horton, Kan.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Anna Cemetery, with the Rev. Richard Sullins officiating.

Crain Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
