Ruby Crowell

Ruby Anna Daniel Crowell, 92, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, April 23, 2012, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Dec. 26, 1919, in Advance, Mo., to Freeman and Nola A. Cook Daniel.

Ruby spent most of her young adult life in Illmo until 1951 when she met and married her husband of 60 years, Delbert C. Crowell. He preceded her in death Oct. 19, 2011. They lived in Chicago 29 years before retiring and moving back to Southeast Missouri.

Survivors include a son, Harold Gene Vincent of Rector, Ark.; two daughters, Charlotte Ann Worswick of Ankeny, Iowa, Rebecca Sue Crowell of Jackson; a sister, Mildred Henderson of Modesto, Calif.; and a grandchild, Alex Crowell of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to service time Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kim L. Ferguson officiating. Entombment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
