CHARLESTON -- Ruby Crosier, 77, of Charleston, died Wednesday, July 28, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 17, 1915, in Neptune, Tenn. She and Ray Crosier were married July 18, 1933. He died Dec. 12, 1970.
Crosier owned and operated Crosier's Market 34 years. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include three sons, Ray "Buddy" Crosier of Charleston, Bob Crosier of Sikeston, Larry Crosier of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Ellen Crosier of Charleston; two half sisters, Cora Simpson and Janette Riley of Charleston; a half brother, Gene Allensworth of Chicago; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at McMikle Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Dariel Hodge will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Friday.
