MARBLE HILL -- Ruby Gertrude Bailey, 83, of Marble Hill died Monday, Jan. 6, 1997.

She was born Aug. 29, 1913, at Steele, daughter of Noah and Carrie Wyatt Robinson. She married James F. Bailey, who preceded her in death.

Bailey was a retired nurse assistant.

Survivors include a son, Bob Hamilton of Paducah, Ky.; two daughters, Jacquiline Waddell of Davenport, Fla., Shirley Lee of Marble Hill; 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, a stepdaughter, three stepsons, and three grandchildren.

Friends may call at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill after 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Clifton Trentham officiating. Burial will be in Maple Cemetery at Caruthersville.
