BROWNWOOD, Mo. -- Ruby F. Ashcraft, 91, of Brownwood died Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at Advance Nursing Center.
She was born July 1, 1912, at Brownwood, daughter of Lyman and Elsie Taylor Pritchett. She and J.B. "Bill" Ashcraft were married Oct. 1, 1929. He preceded her in death.
Ashcraft was a member of Brownwood General Baptist Church and the Missionary Society.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Ashcraft of Overland Park, Kan., Lyman "Jake" Ashcraft of Benton, Mo.; two daughters, Velma Parker of Marshall, Ill., Peggy Jensen of Lander, Wyo.; a sister, Imogene Dake of Springfield, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Brownwood General Baptist Church, with the Revs. Watis Harrell and Naamon Eaker officiating. Burial will be in Brownwood Cemetery at Brownwood.
