SCOTT CITY -- Ruby Alberta Stevens, 77, of Scott City died Monday, March 4, 1991 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 19, 1913 at Whitewater, the daughter of Alex and Mathilda Hahn Welker.
She was a drycleaning presser for 37 years in St. Louis.
On Nov. 30, 1931, she married Clarence Stevens. He preceded her in death in 1970.
She was also preceded in death by one son, one sister and one brother.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Judy Stevens, Kelso; one daughter-in-law, Jeanne Stevens, St. Louis; two sisters, Peggy Hennrichs and Mary Woods, both of St. Louis; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Friends may call at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. William Dickey officiating. Burial will follow in Lightener Memorial Cemetery.
