PERRYVILLE --Ruben Steven Tucker, 80, died Saturday, Aug. 26, 1995, at his home in Perry County.
He was born June 24, 1915, in Perry County. He had been a self-employed painter.
He was the son of Lonnie Tucker and Esther Marie Weith Tucker.
He married Anna Mae Garrett. She survives.
Also surviving are a brother, Alvin Tucker of St. Louis; three sisters, Ethel Snyder and Hazel Skaggs, both of Perryville, and Evelyn Linback of St. Louis.

He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Visitation will be from 3 until 9 p.m. today at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.
A wake service will be held at 7.
Visitation also will be from 6:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Monday. The rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. James Catholic Church in Crosstown. The Rev. Charles Rice will officiate.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
