Roy Williamson

BEMENT, Mo. -- Funeral for Roy Williamson of Bement will be held at 2 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, Mo. The Rev. Delbert Bishop will officiate. Burial will be in Mounds Park Cemetery at Lilbourn, Mo.

Williamson, 59, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2001, at his home.

He was born June 7, 1942, at Charleston, Mo., son of Raymond and Christie Williamson Mott. He and Jane Wilson were married March 31, 1975.

Williamson was a deckhand with Walker Barge Lines. He attended Bement Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Tammy Mizell, Vickie Artman and Kathy Henry, all of Metropolis, Ill.; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
