Roy Williams
SIKESTON -- Roy D. Williams, 65, of Sikeston died Thursday, Aug. 5, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born May 3, 1934, in Beech Grove, Ark., son of Roy E. and Mamie Harvell Williams. He and Betty F. Goodin were married Jan. 11, 1968, at Sikeston.
Williams had worked for the Missouri State Highway Department. He attended Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Rick Williams of Sikeston; two daughters, Donna Colwick of Sikeston, Carolyn Thompson of Edgewater, Fla.; four sisters, Imogene Clark and Patsy Bradshaw of Sikeston, Marie Decker of Manila, Ark., and Letty Bradshaw of New Hamburg.
Also surviving are six brothers, F.D. Williams of Jackson, Ellsworth Williams of Charleston, Charles Williams of Jackson, Mickey, Darrell and Joe Williams of Sikeston; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel. The Revs. Kelley Grubbs and Nathan Hall will officiate. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
