SIKESTON, Mo. -- Roy Edward Waldman, 69, of Sikeston died Friday, Aug. 29, 2003, at his home. He was born Jan. 9, 1934, in Sikeston, son of Ellis P. and Martha Thomas Waldman. SIKESTON, Mo. -- Roy Edward Waldman, 69, of Sikeston died Friday, Aug. 29, 2003, at his home.

He was born Jan. 9, 1934, in Sikeston, son of Ellis P. and Martha Thomas Waldman. He and Louise Chappell were married Dec. 12, 1965, in Sikeston.

Waldman was a lead man 25 years with Sikeston Water Department and a member of Smith Avenue Church of God.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Danny Isenhower of Sikeston; a daughter, Paulette Douglas of Sikeston; a sister, Mary Buchanan of Sikeston; a grandson; and four great-granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Ira Sandefer officiating. Burial will be in Sikeston City Cemetery.
