CHARLESTON -- Roy Lawrence Henry, 66, of Charleston died Thursday, Sept. 3, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 10, 1932, at Crosnoe, son of James R. and Esther V. Forrester Henry.
Henry was retired from Domtar Gypsum Co. in Antioch, Calif. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include two daughters, Beverly and Wanda Henry, both of California; his mother of East Prairie; three brothers, Curtis and Richard Henry, both of East Prairie, Russell Henry of Portageville; five sisters, Dora Poe, Eunice Henry, Audrey Furgerson and Justine Henry, all of East Prairie, Judy Western of Sikeston; a granddaughter; and two great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann, and his father.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 5 p.m. today.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. George White officiating.
