DEXTER -- Roy Bone, 95, of Dexter died Thursday, Sept. 3, 1998, at Crowley Ridge Nursing Center.
He was born Sept. 1, 1903, at Clinton, son of Benjamin Franklin and Ida Bone. He and Leona B. Glass were married in September 1924. She died Sept. 14, 1978.
Bone lived at Charleston most of his life and farmed and worked at Brown Shoe Co.
Survivors include a son, Roy Bone of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three daughters, Dorothy Johnson of Poplar Bluff, Peggy Wamble of Dexter, Jeanette Adams of Florissant; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 11 a.m. Sunday.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerald Penn officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery at Charleston.
