Rowland L. Julian, 92, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, at Lutheran Home.
He was born Oct. 1, 1925, in Jackson, Michigan. He and Alice Sanders were married Oct. 7, 1978. She passed away June 21, 2005.
Rowland was raised by his grandmother in Michigan. He earned his Eagle Scout before joining the U.S. Navy. After his service, he went to work at Aeroquip Corp. in Jackson, Michigan, as a mechanical engineer. His love of antiques lasted for 40 years, buying, selling and refurbishing.
Loving survivors include his daughter, Judy Loy of Evergreen, Colorado, and a son Timothy Julian of Yampa, Colorado.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev Jimmie Corbin officiating.
