Rowena King

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Rowena A. King, 83, of Perryville, Mo., died Friday, Dec. 16, 2005, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 5, 1922, in Perry County, Mo., daughter of Joseph B. and Irene Hoff Yeager. She and Clement M. King were married April 7, 1945, and he preceded her in death on June 2, 1988.

King was retired from Prince Gardener International Shoe. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Perry County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Walker of Littleton, Colo.; a sister, Ruth Heck of Perryville, Mo.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a son and a brother.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville, Mo., from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and on Monday from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Christopher Cole will officiate, with burial in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
