Rosybell (Steward) Stephens, 88, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
She was born on Sept. 10, 1919, in Advance, Mo., the daughter of James W. and Lillie (Goff) Steward.
She and Joseph B. Stephens were married on Nov. 11, 1939, in Benton, Mo. He died July 31, 2007.
She was employed by Superior Electric as an assembler.
She is survived by two daughters, Peggy (Stephens) Landewee of Cape Girardeau, Bonnie Jo (Stephens) Pierce of Poplar Bluff; two sisters, Ruth Jauch and Norma Jean Bankston, both of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren, Dave Landewee (Chenwei) of Kansas City, Mo., Julie Williams (Jim) of Poplar Bluff; great-grandchildren, Brennon, Braedon and Bailey Williams of Poplar Bluff, Stephen, Brittany and Josh Landewee of Kansas City.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at noon Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home, with the Rev. Joe McCullough officiating.
Burial will be at Fairmont Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
