Roswitha Marie (Knott) Storm, age 82, of Thebes, Illinois, passed away at 10:05 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Mrs. Storm was born Feb. 18, 1932 in Straubing, Germany, daughter of the late Wilhelm and Justina (Retzer) Knott.
Mrs. Storm was a retired cook for the Kozy Korner Restaurant in Olive Branch, Illinois.
Mrs. Storm was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul Raymond Storm; a daughter, Jeanette Melbourne; a son, Ricky Storm and a great-grandson.
Survivors include three sons, Dietmar Knott, Steven Storm and Charles Storm, all of Fort Wayne, Indiana; 17 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Martha Coomber of Port Charlotte, Florida.
Funeral services for Roswitha Storm will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Jones Funeral Home Tamms with the Rev. Curt Alderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes.
Friends may call Tuesday between noon and 2 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home Tamms.
