Ross Lee Hendrix, 63, of Cape Girardeau, died Sunday, May 12, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Sept. 17, 1932, in East Prairie, son of Willis Terrell and Lillie May Pruitt Mills Hendrix. He and Edna Irene Linhart were married Sept. 29, 1951, in Pocahontas, Ark.
Hendrix was a carpenter.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Mike Hendrix of Granite City, Ill., Randy, David and Johnny Hendrix of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Pamela Wiezer of Granite City, Linda Severin of O'Fallon, Ill.; two brothers, Bill Hendrix of East Prairie, Jim Hendrix of Morley; two sisters, Nell Woods of Indianapolis, Ind., Elsie Williams of Ada, Okla.; 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, daughter and three brothers.
Graveside service will be held Saturday at Dogwood Cemetery in East Prairie, with the Rev. Eddie Linhart officiating.
Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
