ROSS HANEY

PUXICO -- Funeral service for Ross Haney of Puxico will be held at 10 a.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Puxico. The Revs. W.V. Mosbey and Orville Huffman will officiate, with burial in Brown Cemetery.

Haney, 88, died Saturday, June 24, 1995, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.

He was born Jan. 25, 1907, in Mount Vernon, Ill., son of Halech and Uicie Braddy Haney. He and Rubie Sifford were married Feb. 17, 1927, at Puxico.

Haney was a retired farmer. He was a member of Brown General Baptist Church and had been a deacon 37 years.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Avery Haney of Puxico; two grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by five sisters.
