ADVANCE, Mo. -- Ross Bollinger, 90, of Advance died Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 5, 1917, at Bell City, Mo., son of Alvin and Mary Barks Bollinger. He and Georgia Redman were married May 17, 1941, at Benton, Mo.
Bollinger was a retired machinist. He was a member of the Bell City United Methodist Church and a member of the Bell City Masonic Lodge. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Lee Bollinger of Advance; a grandson; and two stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. LeeRoy Hefner officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Advance.
