BLOOMFIELD -- Rosie Retta Morse, 73, Bloomfield Route 3, died Wednesday, May 11, 1994, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
She was born Jan. 27, 1921, in Clarkton, daughter of Fred and Ella Lowry McAnelly. She married Harvie Morse, who died Aug. 1, 1986.
Morse had been a nurse's aide at Shuffit Nursing Home.
Survivors include four sons, Steve Morse of Citrus Heights, Calif., Harold Morse of Morehouse, Harvey Morse of Bloomfield, Raymond Morse of Dexter; four daughters, Maxine Newell of Essex, Ann Hawkes of Sikeston, Bonnie Hughes and Brenda Condict of Dexter; a brother, Paul McAnelly of Vanduser; three sisters, Geneva Statler of Bloomfield, Pauline Gaddy of Dexter, Bernice Eaves of Sikeston; 13 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and grandson.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be in the chapel at 11 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Kevin Eskew officiating. Burial will be in Bell City Cemetery.
