SIKESTON -- Rosie Meeks, 87, of Sikeston, died Thursday, May 4, 1995, at Sikeston Health Care. She was born Aug. 18, 1907, in Mississippi, daughter of Thomas and Rosie Reddiex. She married Sandy Meeks, who died in May 1971. Survivors include a daughter, Cora Fair of Charleston; two sisters; three brothers; two granddaughters; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren...

SIKESTON -- Rosie Meeks, 87, of Sikeston, died Thursday, May 4, 1995, at Sikeston Health Care.

She was born Aug. 18, 1907, in Mississippi, daughter of Thomas and Rosie Reddiex. She married Sandy Meeks, who died in May 1971.

Survivors include a daughter, Cora Fair of Charleston; two sisters; three brothers; two granddaughters; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at St. John Baptist Church, with the Rev. Flem Bronner officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.

Sparks Funeral Home at Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
